Warning: Identity file ~/.ec2/gsg-keypair not accessible

I set the identity file on:

set :identity_file, '~/.ec2/gsg-keypair'

and Warning: Identity file ~/.ec2/gsg-keypair not accessible: No such file or directory.

mina can't access hidden folder and file, is a bug?
