yosemite can't install simple_oauth gem

I upgraded to yosemite recently. I have an existing Rails 3 (ruby 1.9.3) app. When I try to run "bundle install" I keep bumping to this issue:

I tried different approaches to install therubyracer like the ones mentioned in How to install therubyracer gem on 10.10 Yosemite? but still now luck.
