Is there a way to change twitter background color with Ruby?

I was wondering if there was a way to change the twitter background with Ruby?? I know there is a method titled: profile_background_color, however I don't know how to call it. I tried:

 client.profile_background_color("ffffff")

I just got a no method error. Is it even possible? Please help, thank you fro your time and consideration in advance :)
