Anyone using apache mod_porter module for rails appplication

Anyone using apache module mod_porter for file uploads in their application? My application has to support file uploads where files can me at max of 2gb.

Currently i am using resumable.js for file uploads which uploads file in chunks. And all i know about mod_porter that its an 5 yr old module no longer maintained.

Any suggestion about using chunk upload vs mod_porter will be helpful
