How can I make a Rails which can auto locate place and display as google map?

I am trying to make a simple program which can locate your place, for example when you enter your place my program will display your map as google map.

When I search by google, they said that I can use Gmaps4rails, but unfortunately that it seems obsolete and I can not use it anymore.

Could you please give me any idea? Or some link ?
