Ruby on Rails rendering even on certain data entry

I'm developing taxi ordering app, after the order is made the taxi which it is assigned should receive a request, and confirm or deny it. I wonder what is the correct way to do it in Ruby On Rails, as I am new to this framework, any suggestions?
